Case 1: Your details do not match the identity document
If the details stored in the system differ from your identity document, please update the contact details accordingly.
How to proceed
- Open the domain holder’s contact details in your customer account.
- Correct the details so that they exactly match the identity document.
- In particular, make sure the correct number from the document is entered.
- Save the changes and perform the update.
- Then check the verification status again.
Result
After the correction, the verification should be processed correctly and the issue should be resolved.
Case 2: Your details already match the identity document
If all details exactly match the submitted document, no change to the contact details is required.
What you should check
- Compare the details in your customer account carefully with the identity document again.
- Make sure there is absolutely no character mismatch.
- Then check the status of your domain or case again.
How do you know the verification was successful?
If the following status is displayed:
“Registrant verified - Domain active”
the registrant has been successfully verified and the domain is active.
