Issues with Updating Nameservers for cf, gq, tk domains

We are currently facing operational and technical challenges with cf, gq, and tk domains. These challenges have led to difficulties for many registrars, including us, in processing nameserver changes for these domains. The primary causes are:

Internal system limitations of the registry: These impact the reliability and speed of processing nameserver changes.

Legal complications: These also affect the stability and operation of the registry’s services.

The delays and issues are primarily due to the registry’s internal processes and systems. Unfortunately, as a registrar, we have limited ability to influence this process directly.

Given the current difficulties, it is not possible to provide an exact timeframe. Processing times vary significantly, and changes may take considerably longer than usual to be implemented.

Some customers have reported that repeated attempts to update nameservers have occasionally been successful. However, there is no guarantee of consistent results.

Unfortunately, there is no reliable method to expedite the process at this time. In the meantime, the following options may be considered:

Using a different domain extension.

Waiting for the registry to stabilize its systems.
