To connect your domain to your Shopify store, you will need to adjust the DNS records of your domain.
In your INWX customer area, click on "Nameserver" in the left-hand menu and select your domain from the list. Open the existing DNS records by clicking on the eye symbol:
Now create two new DNS records for your domain (click on "Add DNS Record"):
Name: leave it empty
Type: A
Value: 23.227.38.65
and
Name: www
Type: CNAME
Value: shops.myshopify.com
The resulting DNS record should look like this:
Existing A records that are not explicitly required for a subdomain or service should be removed. In addition to the above entries, you can also create an MX record for email reception. For this, you may need an email provider of your choice or one of our MailSpace packages.
