In order to be able to confirm the transfer of a gTLD, the domain owner and in some cases also the admin-c receive an email which is sent to the email address stored in the Whois data. The transfer will get started by clicking on the confirmation link contained in the e-mail. The domain then changes to the TRANSFER STARTED status.
If you have not received an e-mail, please also check the SPAM folder of your e-mail provider. Alternatively, please contact our support so that we can resend the e-mail.
If the e-mail address in the Whois data is no longer up-to-date, please update it beforehand with the previous registrar. If the change occurs after the transfer has been initiated, please provide us with information so that we can resend the email. This is only possible as long as the domain is in the TRANSFER INITIATED status.
Unless the current registrar explicitly agrees or rejects it, the transfer will automatically be completed on the 6th day after the email confirmation.Tags: domain, initiated, status, transfer
